In Reading, we’ll move on to our next story, Smash! Crash! In this story, Jack Truck and his best friend Dump Truck Dan are spending the day doing their favorite thing...Smashing and Crashing throughout the whole town! Along the way they meet up with their friends! But when a mysterious shadow falls over them and a strange voice calls, could the smashing, crashing duo be in trouble? We will review the literary element character. In Phonics, we’ll focus on the letter Mm and the /m/ sound in the initial and final position.
In Math, we’ll continue with Topic 15: Position and Location of Shapes. We will learn positional words to describe the location of shapes.
Today was the final day of our apple theme! As our culminating activity, we made applesauce!
