In Math we’ll finish with Topic 1, Numbers One to Five. Our essential question is “How can the numbers one through five be counted, read, and written?”
In Reading, we’ll begin Unit 2. This unit will discuss how animals and plants are unique. Our first story will be, “Flowers.” Our essential question will be “How are flowers unique?” We will discuss the literary element, compare and contrast. We will continue to practice Sight Words. Be sure to watch your child’s folder to see if they are moving on to the next word list or if they need to continue with their current list! Sight Words will be tested on Friday.
