In Math, we’ll review, all of the skills that we’ve learned up to this point.  After Thanksgiving, we’ll start Topic 2, Comparing and Ordering 0 to 5.  Our essential question will be “How can numbers from 0 to 5 be compared and ordered?”

In Reading, we’ll continue with Unit 2.  Our next story will be “Nature Spy.”  Our essential question will be “What can we learn about nature when we look closely?”  We will discuss the literary element, setting.  We will continue to practice Sight Words.  Be sure to watch your child’s folder to see if they are moving on to the next word list or if they need to continue with their current list!  Sight Words will be tested on Friday, December 4.
