Next week,
we’ll learn our second to last letter!
Our new letter will be Ww. There will be no Show and Tell this
week. On Wednesday, we’ll have “Watery
Wednesday” and do some fun activities with water. Please continue to practice letters and
sounds at home.
In Math, we completed Topic 15 and moved on to Topic 16. Students will analyze, compare, and compose
shapes. Our big question will be, “How
can shapes be named, described, compared, and composed?”
Next
week in Reading we’ll start Unit 3: Changes all around us! The first story in Unit 3 will be Little
Panda. Our question of the week will be
“How does a panda change in its first year of life?”
On Tuesday, May 26th, Kindergarten will go on
their Field Trip to the ZooAmerica in Hershey.
Permission forms were sent home on Friday. Please complete and return them as soon as
possible if you haven’t done so already.
Order forms for the Kindergarten Graduation DVD were sent
home. Order forms are due back by Friday,
May 1st! Even though the forms are not
due until May 1st, please try to return them as soon as possible so
I know who can be in the slideshow and who can’t. Even if you are not interested in ordering
a copy, the form still needs to be returned so we have your permission to
include your child in the slideshow.
Due
to PSSA testing there will be no specials on these days: April 28 and 29.
In April, the positive behavior plan allows students to get
TWO yellow and/or red lights. Please
continue to remind your child of this at home and encourage good behavior.
