Next week, we’ll continue to learn about the letter Ll as in lion, lemon, and laugh. Please continue to practice identifying the letter Ll and its sound at home.
In Math we’ll introduce the numbers 7-10. We will continue to sing songs to help us learn how to write numbers! Ask your children to sing these songs at home! They really enjoy them!
In Reading, we’ll read the story, “Corduroy.” We’ll be working on drawing conclusions.
Anyone interested in helping with the Kindergarten Fall Festival is invited to a meeting in the NSE cafeteria at 2:00 on Wednesday, September 10th. In order to help at the Fall Festival you must have clearances. The Fall Festival will be held on Thursday, October 9th (no rain date.) The meeting MAY run until the end of the school day. Please send your child’s teacher a note or email if you would like to help but are unable to attend the meeting.
Scholastic Book Club orders are due on Monday, Sept. 8th. Orders can be placed online or sent to school.
Keep practicing the 4 digit ID numbers with your child. Thank you to the parents who have already taught the number to their children :)
Please check your child’s folder daily and remove all “KEEP” items. It becomes difficult to handle the folders with too many papers inside (for the students and teachers.)
Picture forms are being sent home today. Please return it as soon as possible.
