As you are aware Hurricane Sandy has devastated parts of the Eastern United States. One of the hardest hit areas is Cedarhurst, NY, home to the Lawrence Union Free School District. The students and families of Cedarhurst are in dire need of basic household goods. As part of an outreach to that district and community, The North Schuylkill School District would like to “adopt” the Lawrence Union Free School District, and show the generous helping spirit that the North Schuylkill School District is best known for. We ask that you kindly consider giving a much needed donation from the attached list by Friday, November 16 so that the North Schuylkill Community can make a positive effect on the students and families of the Lawrence Union Free School District.
