In Math, we’ll continue with Topic 3: Numbers 6-10. We will be learning how to read, write, and count numbers 6-10. Please practice writing these numbers at home.
Our class will be completing a “Holiday Traditions” project for homework this week. Please watch your child’s folder for more information.
Congratulations to the students who met they November reading goal. Anyone who read 15 or more books receives a free pizza from Pizza Hut.
Due to the holiday, I didn’t send home decodable readers for the past 2 weeks but I will start sending them again this week.
In an effort to make sure that our school dress code is being followed, I wanted to remind everyone of a few key points. Students must wear shirts with a collar unless it’s gym day. If your child is wearing a sweater or vest, they must have a collar on under it. Shirts needs to be solid or striped no plaid. Students are not permitted to wear cargo style pants with pockets on the sides.
Kindergarten had a great time on our field trip last week! Everyone looked fantastic and really enjoyed the show. Check out my blog for a picture of everyone all dressed up! Thank you to PTO for making this trip possible!
On Friday, Dec 2nd, we mailed our letters to Santa via local mail carrier, Leandra Edmondson! Thank you so much to Ms. Edmondson for taking care of this important job! Our fingers are crossed that we’ll get a letter back from Santa sometime in the next few weeks
The Ned Show will be coming to NSE on Friday, December 9th. Information was sent home last week.
The Brain Show will visit our school on Thursday, December 15th thanks to our wonderful PTO!
