Phonics:
  • Letter of the Week: Nn as in nest, neck, and nice! 
  • Letters that we’ve learned: Ll, Oo, Gg, Hh, Tt, Pp, Aa, Nn
Math:
  • Topic 2: Comparing and Ordering 0 to 5
  • Essential Question: How can numbers from 0 to 5 be compared and ordered? 
Reading:
  • Story: This week we will be reading various Christmas books and doing some fun activities to go along with each story. 
Mark your calendars….
  • December 17th- We will travel to the high school to see the band and chorus perform their Christmas concert.
  • December 18th- Community Outreach Dress Down Day ($1 donation) and Santa visits Kindergarten.
  • December 22nd- Everyone is invited to wear their ugliest Christmas sweater and jeans to school! This is a free dress down day!
  • December 23rd- Polar Express Day! Kindergarten students are invited to wear their pajamas to school as we take a magical ride on the Polar Express! We will complete a variety of activities revolving around the book “The Polar Express.” Students will be dismissed at 1:00 to begin their Christmas vacation. 
Students are not coming to school dressed for outside recess! Please make sure your child is dressed for the weather! Coats, hats, and gloves! We go out almost every day unless it’s raining!
