**Our class had a TERRIFIC time at the pep rally. It’s great to see that they are proud to be Spartans!!!!
**Tuesday, September 7th will be Day 2 and we will have Art.
**This week we will continue to learn about the letter Ll as in lion, lemonade, and lizard. Please review the letter and sound with your child at home. On Friday, September 10th Kindergarten will have a Luau! Students are asked to dress tropical: bright colors, floral prints, Hawaiian shirts, etc. More details will be sent home next week.
**There were a few issues with dress code this week. Please remember that students’ shorts and pants CANNOT have CARGO POCKETS! Also, on gym day students may wear a plain t-shirt or a North Schuylkill t-shirt. Finally please make sure that your child’s shorts meet the required length!
**Please discuss with your child if they are buying lunch and what they should choose. We’ve had a few children order lunch because it sounded good, but they really had a packed lunch!
**Try to make sure your child has his/her bus tag every day. The end of the day is hectic and some children don’t know their bus numbers yet!
**Every Friday of the school year is a spirit day! This is completely optional! It is done to promote school spirit and enthusiasm for our sports teams. The children are allowed to wear any North Schuylkill t-shirt and uniform pants or uniform shorts (please see p. 5 of the student dress code.) The children may dress in regular uniform clothing if you wish
